As grim as the street life may be, there appears to be an appeal that garners immense attention, especially through music. With Rhode Island being so small, news of beef and disses travel faster than the spark of a flicked lighter. This brings us to Lil Remy, one of the newer names on our radar with his second release Never Did What. Possibly adopting the new face of his hoods generation, Remy displays the raw presence of what lies beneath the surface of what Rhode Island camouflages behind its political and touristy image.
